ADOPT / FOSTER

We are doing adoptions and fostering by appointment only.  Available animals are posted on Facebook and our the website. The first step is to fill out an application below.

The placement team will review the application and contact you about the adoption/foster process.

Every one of our cats and dogs are cared for by our dedicated staff of volunteers. We spend a lot of time getting to know their personalities, quirks, likes, and dislikes. We take pride in our thorough adoption/foster process and work hard to find forever homes for all our animals. Our all-volunteer placement team commit themselves to making the best matches we can with the wonderful people, like you, who have decided to give a new life to some of Mississippi’s abandoned, abused, and stray cats and dogs. We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts and paws for opting to adopt! You can find more information about our cat and dog adoption/fostering by emailing us at info@animalaidms.org.

We at Four Paws Farm, value the life of each and every animal in our care. Our volunteers screen for health, behavior, and temperament of each animal to the best of our ability during the time he/she has been in our care. However, there is always a chance that an animal may display behaviors later that were previously undetected. In addition, an animal may be ill at the time of admission or adoption without showing any clinical signs of such illness. Please be aware that you are fully responsible for any expenses from the time of adoption forward.
I certify that the information provided is complete and correct to the best of my knowledge. I authorize Four Paws Farm to verify the information on my adoption application.
We microchip our cats and dogs before they leave our care. We register the microchip with your information as part of your adoption fee; however, it is your responsibility to keep the microchip information up to date throughout the animal's life. The emergency contact should be someone other than yourself, and at a telephone number different than yours. It should be someone who will always know how to contact you if your registered telephone number becomes disconnected.
